In early August, Uralelectrotyazhmash accepted the Belarusian delegation of the Grodnoenergo RUE. Power engineers familiarized themselves with production and discussed cooperation issues. At present, two contracts have been concluded with Grodnoenergo for the supply of transformers TDTN-16000/110 U1 and TRDN-25000/110 U1 for the substations Shchuchin and Ostrovets-Vostochnaya. The last of them is being built specifically for the new nuclear power plant and will become a source of energy supply for residential buildings in the neighborhood and the hospital under construction. In addition, the possibility of using complete gas-insulated modules and transformers in projects of installation of electric boilers at CHP plants is being considered. During the visit, the leadership of Grodnoenergo highly appreciated the quality of the plant’s products and confirmed its interest in continuing cooperation. Since 2009, UETM has supplied 43 sets of transformers and two sets of current-limiting reactors to Belarus, of which nine were delivered to Grodnoenergo.
